How long can your care visits be?
The length of time that each care visit can take is again all dependent on you and your care needs. The length and frequency of your care needs will be discussed at your assessment home visit. Care visits do not have to be the same length of time for each one, they can be bespoke to you. We have a variety of call times such as:
30 minute call – Our shortest visit time would benefit someone who requires some support with certain aspects of personal care, but is independent in getting dressed and ready for the day.
45 minute call – Our 45 minute call would allow for such time as more full support with personal care, meal preparation, medication support and some light household duties.
1 hour call – In our 1 hour call, this allows more time to spend for advancing care needs such as some specialist care, bigger meal preparations, more household duties, medication support or more support with personal care needs.
Companionship calls – These calls can vary in time length depending on what you would like to do during these calls – this could be support to access the community, seeing friends and family, attending appointments or shopping, or taking part in activities, or you may just want some company at home for a general chit chat. These call times start at 1 hour and can often be up to 4 hours or more.
When it comes to scheduling your call times it could be that you have a range of different call times to suit your needs throughout your day.
Live In Care
Live In Care
Live In Care
Live in care is for anyone who requires frequent care and support needs in their own home. Live in care can be a great long term solution that would meet ongoing care needs especially if the person’s health deteriorates.
Live in care means that you have a carer living with you or your family member at home, as opposed to hourly visits where a carer would come to your home at different times of the day.
Live in care provides one to one care and support covering a holistic range of needs. Your care and support would be tailored to your exact needs, wants and wishes and we would work hard to find a carer that matches perfectly.
Choosing live in care over a care home would be beneficial as it reduces the stress of having to navigate care options. Staying at home means you don’t have to worry about finding a suitable care home to meet your needs and requirements, you can stay in the comfort of your familiar surroundings. Our tailored live in packages means you get full support and care delivered exactly how you want it and with a dedicated care team. Live in care means one to one support at all times.
